NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES (UAS/DRONE GUIDANCE) 

This municipal action guide was suppose to serve as a primer on drones for local officials, providing insight into the recently released federal rules relating to drone operation, as well as offering suggestions for how local governments can craft their own drone ordinances to encourage innovation while also protecting their cities.

Unfortunately, many sections within the guide are not only misleading but incorrect and in opposition to FAA UAS regulations. Criticism of specific sections in the guide is included in red text.
